885 Pakistani agricultural professionals complete advanced training in China

Wajiha Qamar addressed the graduation ceremony on Friday, 16 October, for the final group of the Prime Minister’s Initiative for Short-Term Training of 1,000 Pakistani Agricultural Professionals in China. A total of 885 Pakistani agricultural experts finished their studies at five different Chinese institutions.
Candidates from Sindh attended a specific training course held at Sindh Agriculture University in Tandojam. Qamar noted that Pakistan’s farming industry struggles with climate change, limited technology access, water shortages, and low output.
The official stated that cooperation between Pakistan and China in scientific research and technology transfer would bolster the strategic partnership between the two nations. Pakistan is advancing agricultural modernisation through technological innovation and advanced training programmes.
