The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has intensified construction and development work across residential sectors E-12, I-12 and C-14. Infrastructure improvements, including the expansion of road networks and the provision of civic facilities, form the core of these activities.

Sohail Ashraf, the CDA Chairman, inspected Sector E-12 on 16 October to oversee the progress. Ashraf ordered officials to speed up the various ongoing projects during his visit.

More than 1,000 kanals of state land were recovered in E-12, a move valued at billions of rupees. Developmental efforts are also moving forward in the I-12 and C-14 areas.

Road rehabilitation and new construction are being carried out by the authority. The agency is also building and upgrading pedestrian bridges and underpasses.

These initiatives follow the directives of Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi. The CDA highlighted specific plans involving horticulture, landscaping, lakes, parks and the Park Enclave.

No specific completion date was provided for the current development works.
