Pakistan welcomed more than 4.3 million international tourists across the years 2024 and 2025. The Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination submitted these statistics to the National Assembly on Friday.
Over 2.1 million international visitors arrived in the country during 2024, while approximately 2.2 million people visited in 2025. Afghanistan accounted for more than 1.21 million arrivals over the two-year period, with 641,199 tourists visiting in 2024 and 575,674 arriving in 2025.
The United Kingdom contributed over 1.01 million visitors in total, including 503,409 arrivals in 2024 and 514,412 in 2025. More than 500,000 tourists came from the United States over the two years, with 261,282 visiting in 2024 and 248,665 in 2025.
Iran saw an increase in visitors from 106,835 in 2024 to 152,885 in 2025, totaling approximately 260,000 arrivals over the period. Canada recorded more than 234,000 tourists in total, with 116,529 visitors in 2024 and 117,600 in 2025.
China sent 74,093 tourists in 2024 and 85,575 in 2025. Germany recorded 41,389 arrivals in 2024 and 43,097 in 2025.
Australia accounted for 59,154 visitors in 2024 and 58,578 in 2025. Malaysia sent 14,187 tourists in 2024 and 11,626 in 2025.
Thailand accounted for 6,762 visitors in 2024 and 5,694 in 2025.
