Apple released the iPhone Duo, a new foldable device designed to be shaped like a passport. The device features a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner display, both maintaining a 1.4:1 aspect ratio.
A glossy finish covers the exterior screen, while the interior screen uses a nano-texture matte coating. Engineers designed the phone to be shorter and wider than previous models, utilizing a wide aspect ratio.
The iPhone Duo incorporates an under-display camera and a camera control button. Apple claims the iPhone Duo provides 90 percent of the screen area of an iPhone 18 Pro.
The company describes the display crease as "perceptually flat". Hardware includes a Touch ID sensor, volume buttons on the top left, and cameras positioned on the top.
Software features include UI elements scooted to the right and a black bar on the cover screen for non-updated apps. The phone also includes a bumper case featuring a large notch.
Apple has released several other models including the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, and the first iPhone.
