Xiaomi will release the Redmi K100 and Clip Neo earbuds in China on 27 October. The Redmi K100 incorporates a 10,000mAh Jinshajiang battery, which represents the largest capacity ever used in a Xiaomi smartphone.
Xiaomi stated the battery contains 28% silicon-carbon content and provides an energy density of 957Wh/L. Stable performance is maintained at temperatures as low as -20°C.
Lu Weibing said the Redmi K100 can deliver more than 29 hours of Douyin playback, over 24 hours of live streaming, more than 47 hours of music, over 18 hours of navigation, and more than 46 hours of reading. The device supports 100W wired charging, 27W wired reverse charging, and includes bypass charging.
Xiaomi claims the phone can handle up to 1,000 short drama episodes on a single charge. A 6.83-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness defines the front of the device.
The screen features a centered punch-hole and supports a 480Hz multi-finger touch reporting rate alongside a 3,500Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate. Xiaomi noted that more than 40 games support 165fps natively, while over 100 titles support frame interpolation.
Hardware includes a metal frame, a horizontal rear camera module, and a dedicated D2 gaming display chip. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and will run HyperOS 4.
Bose-tuned audio hardware is included in the device, which will be available in Firefly Green.
