Applications for MBBS admissions to private medical colleges in Punjab open on 23 October for the 2026-27 academic session. The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has set 6 November as the deadline for these medical applications.

A first selection list for the medical programme will be published by the UHS on 18 November. Private medical colleges in the province offer approximately 4,500 MBBS seats to eligible candidates from all provinces and overseas Pakistanis.

Merit for admission is calculated using 10 percent weightage for matriculation marks, 40 percent for FSc pre-medical marks, and 50 percent for MDCAT results. Candidates must achieve at least 55 percent in the MDCAT to qualify for MBBS, while a minimum of 60 percent in FSc pre-medical or an equivalent qualification is required.

Applicants can submit their medical applications through the website privatembbs.uhs.edu.pk. Selected students will have a three-day window to pay their fees and join their chosen colleges.

BDS admissions for the 18 private dental colleges in Punjab will open on 18 December, with applications remaining available until 1 January. The UHS will announce the first selection list for dental admissions on 13 January.

Private dental colleges provide 1,100 BDS seats, and interested students can apply via privatebds.uhs.edu.pk. Prospective dental students must score at least 50 percent in the MDCAT to be considered.
