A delegation from the Founders Group of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) met Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on 24 October. The group, which included Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman, Farooq Iftikhar, Sheikh Muhammad Asif, Shahzad Malik, Almas Haider, Shahid Hassan Sheikh, Abdul Basit, Mian Tariq Misbah, Kashif Anwar Sheikh and Mian Khalid Misbah, briefed the Prime Minister on the difficulties facing the business community.

Participants shared specific proposals and discussed the nation's broader economic state, trade promotion, and the provision of facilities for industries. Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Federal Minister for Law and Justice, attended the session alongside Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik.

The delegation praised the government's investor-friendly initiatives and its current economic policies. Prime Minister Muhammad Sharif stated that the government is working in collaboration with the private sector to promote economic activities and create a conducive environment for businesses.
