Superior University and UET Lahore Announce Faculty Openings for Computing Roles

Superior University announced faculty openings for computing programmes at its Gold Campus in Lahore. The university is specifically hiring Lecturers for Software Engineering and Computer Science roles.

For the Software Engineering post, selected candidates might teach subjects such as Applications of Information and Communication Technology, Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, Introduction to Data Science, and Discrete Structures. The Computer Science vacancy requires teaching Mobile Application Development and Advanced Programming.

Applicants must possess an MS or MPhil degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Furthermore, candidates must satisfy the Higher Education Commission’s eligibility criteria for the Lecturer position.

These available positions are situated at Superior University’s Gold Campus on Raiwind Road, Lahore. Separately, the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore announced 24 teaching and faculty vacancies for Pakistani citizens domiciled in Punjab.

These vacancies encompass roles such as Assistant Professor, Lecturer, Teaching Fellow, and Teaching Assistant. UET Lahore offered a monthly stipend of Rs. 75,000 for Teaching Fellows and Rs. 50,000 for Teaching Assistants.

The institution also announced four Assistant Professor positions on a BS-19 contract basis at its Main Campus. Additionally, UET Lahore advertised six Lecturer positions on a BS-18 contract basis.

Across its campuses, UET Lahore is providing 12 Teaching Fellow positions, each with a monthly stipend of Rs. 75,000. The university also posted two Teaching Assistant positions, carrying a monthly stipend of Rs. 50,000.

The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications invited applications for project-based roles under the Cyber Security for Digital Pakistan, Phase-I project in Islamabad. These vacancies are offered on a contract basis, as detailed in Advertisement No. 5/2026.

The available positions range in scale from PPS-05 up to PPS-11. The highest-scale role advertised is Director FCERT at PPS-11.
