The Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has postponed its judgment for the fifth time in a legal proceeding against Aleema Khan. Judges will now deliver the final verdict on 26 November.

The legal action stems from a demonstration held at D-Chowk in Islamabad on 24 November. Eleven other individuals appeared in the courtroom alongside Khan.

Police at the Sadiqabad station registered the case. Imran Khan had previously urged the public to hold nationwide protests to demand the release of imprisoned party leaders, the restoration of the PTI electoral mandate, and the reversal of the 26th Constitutional Amendment.

Khan described the current administration as a "dictatorial regime". The protest concluded on 26 November.

Aleema Khan, Noreen Niazi, and Uzma Khan were previously held in September under Section 3 of the Punjab Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) Ordinance, 1960. The Lahore deputy commissioner signed 30-day detention orders for the women.

On 25 September, the Lahore High Court refused to suspend the detention notices issued against Uzma and Noreen.

Imran Khan described the government as a "dictatorial regime".
