Apple announced the HomeView smart home display, a new device designed for domestic automation. The hardware features a 7-inch square Liquid Retina touchscreen and includes built-in Siri AI capabilities.

A 12 MP camera is integrated into the unit, which consumers can purchase for $299. Customers may choose between a tabletop version or a wall-mounted model, with the latter offering Handoff functionality to move recipe data from an iPhone.

Preorders for the device begin on 13 October, followed by a shipping launch on 13 November. Schneider Home provides three specific mounts for the wall-mounted version, including a Power Mount USB‑C Wall Connector priced at $59.95.

Additional mounting hardware includes the Power Mount AC Wired for $79.95 and a Power Mount PoE Wired, which arrives in early 2027 for $129.95. "It was exactly what my morning is like and it was the most real ad I’ve ever seen from Apple," said Bridget Carey.

"The most unrealistic part of the video is that no one is holding an iPhone," Jen Tuohy remarked.
