JazzWorld signed a Letter of Intent with UNICEF to advance digital inclusion and empower young people across Pakistan. The collaboration focuses on four priority areas: youth empowerment, online safety and digital well-being, humanitarian response and disaster preparedness, and public engagement.

Expanding access to digital literacy and skills development for youth in underserved communities is a primary goal of the agreement. Both organisations will explore ways to strengthen the Digital Youth Hub, which the Prime Minister’s Youth Program established in partnership with UNICEF.

Initiatives will also promote responsible digital participation for girls, children, and adolescents. Mobile connectivity and digital communication platforms will be assessed as tools to improve disaster preparedness.

Syed Zaheer Mehdi, Group Chief Corporate & Regulatory Affairs at JazzWorld, said, "Bridging the digital divide is essential to bridging the emerging AI divide. Young people need access, skills and safe digital environments to benefit from the opportunities AI can create. Our intent to partner with UNICEF reflects a shared ambition to expand opportunities for underserved communities, protect children online and strengthen community resilience. By combining our technology and connectivity capabilities with UNICEF’s expertise in child rights and development, we hope to help build the foundations for an inclusive AI future in Pakistan."
