Medical reports confirmed the rape of a foreign woman in Lahore's Defence area. The victim, a woman from Azerbaijan, allegedly suffered sexual assault from three men two days ago.
Police arrested Mohsin, identified as a key suspect in the gang rape case, on Sunday. Furthermore, police took two other people into custody on suspicion of assisting the suspects.
Police are currently conducting raids to apprehend two additional suspects related to the rape case. Investigators suggest the foreign woman was allegedly given a drug-laced substance at a cafe where two local women were present with three male friends.
Police reported that the suspects left the woman near the airport and subsequently fled. The woman first arrived in Lahore from Tashkent on 4 March 2026 via a foreign airline.
She departed for Baku, Azerbaijan, on 20 March 2026 using a foreign flight. The woman returned to Pakistan on 22 May 2026 from Baku via a foreign airline and stayed with Rashid Ali.
Police noted the woman arrived in Lahore for a third time approximately 15 days ago. Police stated the woman travels to Lahore for the clothing business and regularly moves between Lahore and Faisalabad for work.
Police recovered the vehicle allegedly used to abduct the woman from the relative's house of the main suspect. Investigators confirmed that the foreign woman can understand and speak Urdu.
