Israeli authorities ordered 47 Palestinian families to leave their homes in the village of Khirbet Ras al-Ahmar, located southeast of Tubas, in the northern occupied West Bank by the evening of 10 October. Four families have already fled the area after armed Israeli occupiers issued threats against them.
Armed occupiers stormed several houses in the village, which has been subject to an Israeli blockade for nearly a month. In mid-September, Israeli forces dug a trench across the final remaining access road into the village.
Israeli authorities also demolished six water wells in the community. A Palestinian family was forced from its residence in Jalud near Nablus, while a household of 10 people remained confined to their home in Wadi al-Rakhim near Hebron due to Israeli restrictions.
Since October 2023, the commission has recorded 14,742 attacks across 376 Palestinian villages and communities in the occupied West Bank. Israeli occupiers have killed 67 Palestinians during this period since October 2023.
