Ayaneo's Konkr Pocket Advance modernises the classic Game Boy Advance (GBA) design, incorporating new controls, a superior screen, and Android operating system flexibility. The Pocket Advance operates on Android 12 and includes a custom launcher named AYASpace, granting users access to the Google Play Store.

Powering the unit is a MediaTek Helio G90T processor, complemented by a 4,000mAh battery. The device features a 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen protected by a glass cover.

Control options are expanded with eight additional buttons, including X and Y action buttons alongside four extra shoulder buttons positioned on the top edge. The Pocket Advance supports GBA games, displaying them with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 960x640 resolution.

In terms of configuration, the Pocket Advance is available in a $109 model featuring 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Alternatively, buyers can select the $129 version, which comes equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage.

While the unit can load Cannoli by default, users retain the option to switch back to the AYASpace launcher. Emulation capabilities extend to the PS1 and Sega Dreamcast, making the Pocket Advance better equipped for these systems.

However, the device lacks analog thumbsticks and cannot connect to original game cartridges. Despite these limitations, the Pocket Advance reportedly offers a passable method for streaming Netflix.
