The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar published a list of Class 9 students eligible to receive free Chromebooks. This distribution falls under the Prime Minister’s Digital Pakistan Initiative, which seeks to equip students in public-sector educational institutions with digital learning tools.
BISE Peshawar forwarded the details of eligible candidates who sat for the SSC Annual-I Examination 2026 to the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) in Islamabad. The board identified students from public-sector schools affiliated with BISE Peshawar who achieved specific academic benchmarks.
Science group students who scored 424 marks or higher and Arts group students with 315 marks or more were selected for consideration. Heads of affiliated government schools must now verify the academic and personal records of the students listed on the official BISE Peshawar website.
School heads are required to complete a verification form containing the student's name, B-Form number, roll number, registration number, marks, and institution details. Each school must also provide the student's marksheet, an attested copy of their B-Form, and an attested copy of the parent or guardian’s CNIC.
Signed hard copies of these documents must be submitted directly to the Office of the Director Equivalence at the Inter Boards Coordination Commission in G-10/4, Islamabad. Following submission, school heads must notify the Director of Research and Development at BISE Peshawar.
