Meta launched a new Muse AI agent, which can assist users with tasks such as emails and online purchases. Furthermore, the company announced plans for a dedicated Muse Charm device.

The Muse Charm, according to Bloomberg, will feature a built-in 5G modem alongside a two-inch OLED touchscreen. Meta stated that the Muse agent can connect to numerous productivity applications.

These connections include services such as Gmail, Outlook, Asana, Box, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, Notion, Slack, Stripe, and Zoom. To bolster its enterprise offerings, Meta appointed former MongoDB CEO CJ Desai to lead the platform as its new chief enterprise platform officer.

Mark Zuckerberg confirmed that the Meta Enterprise Platform will concentrate on the Muse agent, the Meta Business Agent, the Muse API, and Muse Code. In addition to software, Meta is also developing the integration of Muse into smart glasses.

The company also confirmed that Muse agents will possess their own dedicated email addresses. Addressing security concerns, Meta issued a patch for the Muse macOS app following the discovery of a zero-day vulnerability.

Separately, Meta reached agreements with Firmus to secure necessary AI compute capacity.
