OpenAI launched two new shopping features for ChatGPT globally, enhancing its e-commerce capabilities. The Virtual Try-On feature enables users to upload a selfie or a full-body photograph to visualise how clothing or accessories might appear on them.

Furthermore, users can upload an image, such as a web screenshot, and prompt ChatGPT to show how that item would look when worn. OpenAI confirmed that the virtual try-on functionality operates using the ChatGPT Images 2.5 model.

A new Favorites feature lets users save products they find within ChatGPT to a dedicated Library for later review. ChatGPT can also aid shopping by letting users describe a desired style and asking the chatbot to locate items to construct that specific look.

Moreover, users have the option to upload pictures of celebrity outfits and request the chatbot to identify comparable items available for purchase. Separately, OpenAI is expanding ChatGPT into professional settings with new software components including Space, Pages, and collaborative slides.

These workplace features were announced at DevDay 2026 in San Francisco. Space functions as a shared repository for a team’s documents, files, and other necessary work materials.

Pages provides users the ability to write, conduct research, generate charts and images, organise checklists, and visualise information. Multiple individuals can edit the same document simultaneously within Pages.

The collaborative slides tool permits users to transform a discussion into a formal presentation. Presentations built using collaborative slides can be exported to both Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides formats.
