The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Board of Investment and Trade Balochistan will jointly host the Balochistan Economic and Investment Forum 2026 on 21 October. Faletti's Hotel in Lahore will serve as the venue for the gathering.

Organisers intend to use the forum to accelerate industrial growth, showcase untapped commercial potential, and draw new investment into the region. Participants will explore opportunities to promote industrial development, utilise mineral resources, and strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors.

Zaki Aijaz, Regional Chairman and Vice President, and Bilal Khan Kakar, Vice Chairman, stated that Balochistan is Pakistan's largest province and offers immense potential for sustainable growth. The province sits at the crossroads of Central Asia, the Middle East, and South Asia, sharing borders with Afghanistan and Iran while maintaining a long coastline along the Arabian Sea.

Aijaz and Kakar noted that the region provides avenues to bolster trade links with Central Asian markets and Gulf states. They also highlighted the potential of Gwadar Port to become a hub for logistics and international transit, driving development across Pakistan.
