The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has revoked the approved layout plan for the Tele Town Housing Scheme with immediate effect. Located in Zone-5 of Islamabad, the 499.50-kanal project was sponsored by Tele Town (Pvt.) Ltd.

Officials approved the scheme's layout on 24 March 2023. The developer failed to meet the conditions of the approval for more than three years.

Between 24 March 2023 and 1 November 2024, the CDA issued several notices to the company regarding these issues. Tele Town (Pvt.) Ltd. received final chances to justify why the plan should remain active in May 2025 and December 2025.

The authority advised the public to check the approval status of housing schemes before buying any property. The CDA stated it would not be liable for any consequences resulting from purchases in schemes that lack a no-objection certificate (NOC) or required approvals.

Stakeholders are warned against starting any unauthorized construction or development. Breaching construction rules may result in legal action.
