The Dalda Foundation Trust (DFT) launched its Scholarship and Student Development Program 2026–27 to provide educational support and financial assistance to students nationwide. Applications for the scheme opened on 12 October and will remain active until 13 November.
Students from Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir are eligible to apply for the various support categories. The program covers professional education ranging from intermediate to university levels, alongside vocational and technical training in several employment-related fields.
Vocational training options include digital skills, technical trades, retail, hospitality, healthcare, agriculture, and livestock, with courses lasting between 6 months and 2 years. Selected candidates will receive mentoring, academic counselling, skills training, and career development support.
General applicants must be under 19 years of age and enrolled in the first year of intermediate education at an eligible public-sector institution. Academic requirements for general applicants include at least 70% marks in matriculation for those pursuing ICS, Arts, or Home Economics, while medical, engineering, or general science students must have secured 80% marks.
Financial eligibility for general applicants requires a monthly parental or guardian income of no more than Rs. 70,000 and, for those in urban areas, a residential property limit of 120 square yards. Vocational education applicants must have obtained at least 50% marks in matriculation and secured admission to a government-approved training program or eligible government institution.
The monthly income limit for vocational education applicants is set at Rs. 70,000. Interested students can submit applications online through the official Dalda Foundation Trust website, as manual submissions will not be accepted.
The foundation has not specified a fixed monthly stipend or scholarship amount, but the selection process involves a written test and verification.
