Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry attended a reception in Islamabad hosted by Han Sungho, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, to mark the National Foundation Day of the Republic of Korea. Chaudhry congratulated the ambassador and offered warm wishes to the Korean government and its people.
Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with the Republic of Korea, Chaudhry said. The Pakistani official noted that the country values Korean expertise in technology, innovation, infrastructure, education, and industrial development.
He identified considerable scope to expand knowledge-sharing and cooperation across these specific sectors. Bilateral ties have grown steadily across trade, investment, political, and people-to-people cooperation, according to Chaudhry.
Pakistan expressed interest in strengthening business-to-business linkages and human resource development while seeking to enhance the bilateral economic framework. Chaudhry stated that a stronger trade and investment framework could create new opportunities for businesses in both countries and support sustained economic growth.
Korean support for capacity-building and institutional strengthening has contributed to Pakistan's development efforts, Chaudhry added. Pakistan reaffirmed its goodwill towards the Korean people and its commitment to strengthening cordial relations.
