Saudi Arabia will host the 6th Hajj Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah from 8 November 2026 to 11 November 2026. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed the hosting of this event, which is part of the King Salman's initiatives.

The conference will feature the Pilgrim Experience Programme, involving over 520 public, private, and nonprofit organisations. Exhibitors will occupy 67,000 square metres, drawing participation from more than 150 countries.

The event is expected to welcome over 204,000 visitors, alongside 270 exhibitors. Meanwhile, the General Entertainment Authority confirmed the cancellation of the Joy Awards.

MBC Group also announced that the Red Sea Film Festival has been postponed until 2027, following its previous iteration in 2021. Furthermore, the Soundstorm event, which took place in 2019, has been cancelled.

Despite these cultural adjustments, the Future Investment Initiative (FII) remains scheduled to proceed. Mazen Hayek, a Dubai-based media consultant, stated that "The war and its wider ripple effects are inevitably prompting Gulf states to reassess spending priorities."
