David Bowie immersive concert experience Stage to premiere in Berlin

The world premiere of the David Bowie immersive concert experience, titled “Stage,” will occur on 14 February 2026 at Berlin’s Uber Arena. Presented in association with the Berlin Film Festival, the project is a joint venture between the David Bowie Estate, documentary filmmaker Brett Morgen, and Rob Hallett’s Wonderworld.
Morgen found the original camera negatives while producing his Grammy Award-winning film “Moonage Daydream. The production features a 3-screen presentation that integrates transparent LED screens with large-scale projections.
Lighting designer Patrick Woodroffe, who has worked with Elton John and the Rolling Stones, provided the design for the show. Paul Massey created a bespoke sound mix for the experience, utilizing 7.1 surround technology and spatial audio design.
Massey previously won Academy Awards for “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Michael,” and “Moonage Daydream.” Morgen will also serve as a headline speaker for the European Film Market talks program at Berlinale.
