Adam Hose has signed a new three-year contract with Worcestershire that remains valid until the conclusion of the 2029 season. The 34-year-old joined the club from Warwickshire prior to the 2023 season.
Hose has featured 96 times across all formats, accumulating more than 2,400 runs in 46 first-class appearances. During the 2026 season, the batsman scored 638 runs, including one century and five scores over 50, as the team finished fifth in Division Two.
He also struck a career-best 266 against Hampshire in 2025 and has recorded two hundreds and 14 half-centuries for the club. The captain of the T20 side, appointed midway through the 2026 competition, spent six months recovering from a severe ankle injury sustained in August 2025.
Alan Richardson described Hose as a "genuine asset" to the squad, noting he grew into one of its "most dependable and valued figures." Richardson added that while the player faced a "really tough and frustrating couple of years battling through injuries," his resilience to fight back is "very telling and says a lot about his character."
Hose said, "It was a pretty easy deal to sort." The batsman stated, "There's absolutely no reason why we shouldn't be setting our stall out to be back in Division One this time next year."
He further noted, "In the white ball, we missed out very narrowly on a quarter-final place this year. There's no reason why we shouldn't be competing for all three trophies." Gareth Roderick also signed on until 2028.
