Sri Lanka elected to bat first following the toss for the third and final T20I against Pakistan at Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi. Pakistan adjusted its lineup by making four changes, introducing Sufiyan Moqeem, Abdul Samad, Razaullah, and Arafat Minhas.

The selectors rested Shadab Khan, Saim Ayub, Naseem Shah, and Abrar Ahmed for this fixture. Lanka made one modification to its own squad ahead of the match.

The hosts currently hold a 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Pakistan won by four wickets on 9 October after chasing down a target of 183 runs with seven balls to spare.

Sahibzada Farhan anchored the chase with 89 runs, while Maaz Sadaqat contributed a half-century of 50 runs. Shah claimed three wickets for the visitors during that encounter.

Imran Randhawa took two wickets in his debut appearance. Pakistan previously defeated Lanka by 82 runs in the second match at Pindi Stadium.

The hosts posted a total of 215-3, which stands as Pakistan's highest score in a T20I on home soil. Imran Randhawa delivered a standout performance in that second clash, taking 3-11 across four overs.

Lanka was limited to 133-7 in the second game, with Salman Mirza securing two wickets. The current series follows a 2019 tour where Lanka won the three-match series against Pakistan 3-0.

Lanka recently suffered a 2-1 away series loss to the West Indies and a 3-0 defeat against England.
