Insta360 introduced a new wireless microphone as a budget-friendly option to its Mic Pro system. The company released the Mic Pro in May 2026, which retails for $329.99 for a kit containing two transmitters, a receiver, and a charging case.
Individual Mic Pro transmitters are sold for $99.99. In contrast, the new Insta360 Mic bundle costs $249.99 and includes the same core components of two transmitters, one receiver, and a charging case.
Single units of the standard Mic are priced at $79.99. A 1.22-inch, six-color E Ink display is integrated into the Insta360 Mic.
Transmitters paired with the wireless receiver can reach a distance of up to 400 metres. The Mic model incorporates automatic gain control modes and AI-powered noise canceling.
Each transmitter for the Mic features a single microphone and weighs 19.4 grams. The Mic Pro transmitters weigh 19.7 grams.
Battery life for the Mic transmitters reaches up to 13 hours, but the charging case can extend this to 34 hours. While the Mic Pro transmitters include 32GB of internal storage, the standard Mic transmitters lack built-in storage but support microSD cards for backup recording.
