The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has launched applications for free AI-powered technology bootcamps as part of the Prime Minister’s technology skills development program. Approximately 3,384 participants will undergo 12 weeks of training across 10 specialised courses.
Training will occur in 17 advertised cities, including Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, and Quetta. Locations in Punjab include Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujrat, and Bahawalpur, while the northern region features Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Gilgit, Skardu, Muzaffarabad, and Mirpur.
Each course provides 300 hours of instruction, comprising 230 hours of technical training and practical labs, 45 hours of soft skills development, and 25 hours of AI tools, freelancing, and employability training. Eligible trainees will receive international certification examination vouchers, though the PSEB does not provide a monthly stipend or travel allowance.
Working IT professionals with at least 16 years of education and graduated in 2023 or later are also eligible, as are candidates with non-IT degrees who work in a relevant technical role within an IT company. Final-year students, particularly those in their eighth semester, may also register for the program.
Applications can be submitted online until 30 October 2026.
