The University of Health Sciences (UHS) approved a resit examination for students enrolled in the BS Nursing program from the Fall 2024 intake. This resit examination for BS Nursing students is scheduled to take place in March 2027.
The decision was reached during the 44th meeting of the UHS Board of Studies in Nursing. Vice Chancellor Major General (Retired) Professor Sohail Sabir chaired the UHS Board of Studies in Nursing.
Furthermore, the board also gave its approval to the examination calendar for all nursing programmes. The approved timetable covers the 2026 annual professional examinations for both the four-year BSc Nursing programme and the two-year Post-RN BSc Nursing programme.
Examinations for various nursing groups will run in phases between February and July 2027. Director General Nursing Punjab Tahira Parveen attended the meeting.
Professor Samina Kausar, Convener of the Board of Studies Nursing, was also present at the meeting. Finally, the board sanctioned an updated roster of registered nursing faculty via the UHS online faculty portal.
