James Austin Johnson portrays Donald Trump in first SNL U.K. crossover

James Austin Johnson appeared on "SNL U.K." to perform a Donald Trump impression during the show's first appearance by the former US president. This performance represented the inaugural crossover between the casts of "SNL U.K." and "SNL".
Saturday night's cold open featured a recreation of a meeting between Ukraine's President Zelenskyy and U.K. Prime Minister Andy Burnham. Johnson, portraying Trump, asked, "Did somebody say Richard E. Grant?"
He continued the bit by stating he wanted "to see my favorite comedian" who was "performing live at high court in the role of defendant". Production costs for the movie, which features Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim secretly filming Elizabeth Holmes, reached $7 million.
Elizabeth Holmes is currently serving an 11-year prison sentence. Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles star in "Sense and Sensibility", a production that cost $25 million.
