Professor Ahsan Iqbal advocated for significant reforms in international institutions during a conclave titled ‘Post US-Iran War: Peace & Economic Dividends for Pakistan’. Iqbal stated that Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, particularly through its embassy, placed the nation at the heart of global attention regarding the United States and Iran conflict.

Media outlets including Al Jazeera, the BBC, CNN, and various British, European, Japanese, and Chinese channels have highlighted Pakistan's role in these events. The professor claimed that Pakistan's commitment to international law and regional peace has garnered unprecedented global appreciation.

Iqbal warned that instability in Libya, Iraq, and Syria has been moving closer to Pakistan, potentially leading to "defeat and desolation." Regarding regional security, he described an adventure undertaken by India in 2025.

Pakistan's defence institutions, led by Field Marshal Asim Munir, responded effectively to those actions to secure a clear victory. He noted that the country had not achieved a victory against India comparable to the “Battle of Haq” in nearly 80 years.

Iqbal also visited the United States in July.
