Zach Bryan wore a black shirt bearing the message 'Free Palestine' on 2 October 2026 at Gillette Stadium in the United States. The performance took place as part of his With Heaven On Tour.

Gillette Stadium, which the Kraft Group owns, is managed by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft. Previously, Macklemore made comments supporting Palestine at MetLife Stadium in September, including calling for 'Free Palestine' before performing 'Hind's Hall'.

Robert Kraft subsequently prevented Macklemore from performing at Gillette Stadium during Ed Sheeran's concerts on 25 and 26 September. Kraft stated that the decision concerning Macklemore stemmed from his actions and a history of antisemitic rhetoric.

However, Robert Kraft also stated that the decision did not intend to deny anyone the right to advocate for Palestinians and acknowledged that Palestinian suffering was real. Severe weather linked to a nor'easter caused the cancellation of Ed Sheeran's scheduled shows at Gillette Stadium.

Following these events, Macklemore was removed from the remaining US dates of the tour. In contrast, Macklemore announced the Free Palestine Tour, which saw dates in Dublin, Paris, and London sell out.

Regarding his career, Zach Bryan is scheduled to perform a second night at Gillette Stadium on 3 October 2026. The artist first began uploading music to YouTube in 2017, with the single "God Speed" being his initial upload.

Bryan released two self-produced studio albums, namely DeAnn in 2019 and Elisabeth in 2020. He later signed with Warner Records to release his third album, American Heartbreak, in 2022.

The album American Heartbreak (2022) reached number 5 on the Billboard 200, and the single "Something in the Orange" propelled it into the Billboard Hot 100 top ten. His self-titled fourth album in 2023 debuted at the top of the Billboard 200.

The single "I Remember Everything," which featured Kacey Musgraves, simultaneously peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs charts. The Great American Bar Scene (2024) achieved number 2 on the Billboard 200.

With Heaven on Top (2026) debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200. According to the RIAA, Zach Bryan has sold more than 30 million albums and singles.
