Pakistan condemned Houthi ballistic missile attacks that targeted the Makkah and Madinah regions of Saudi Arabia on 24 October. The projectiles struck areas in the vicinity of the holy sites.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the strikes as "a grave violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and territorial integrity." Officials from the ministry further stated the actions showed "a blatant disregard for the sanctity of Islam's holiest sites and the safety of civilians."

Saudi Arabia's Civil Defence issued alerts for Makkah and Jeddah on 24 October, while also notifying residents in Taif and Yanbu. The Ministry of Affairs also noted that the Houthis attacked the Taibah power distribution station in Madinah on 29 September.

Pakistan reiterates its unwavering solidarity with the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to the Ministry of Affairs. Houthis advanced towards territory near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait in September.
