Adam Ciongoli to step down as Fox Corp chief legal officer

The executive will transition into a special advisory role through 2028 while Kristopher Jones takes on new reporting lines.

Adam Ciongoli will resign as the chief legal and policy officer of Fox Corp. on 1 December 2026. Through 30 June 2028, Ciongoli will remain with the company as a special adviser.

Kristopher Jones will begin reporting directly to John Nallen starting 1 December 2026. Ciongoli joined Fox in 2023 after serving as general counsel and chief sustainability, corporate responsibility and governance officer for Campbell Soup Co.

Previous roles for the executive included serving as general counsel of Lincoln Financial Group. His legal career includes serving as counselor to John Ashcroft during his tenure as U.S. attorney general.

Ciongoli also acted as chief counsel to the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on the Constitution, Federalism and Property Rights. The former law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. oversaw legal matters for Fox Corp. brands including Fox News Media, Fox Sports, Tubi Media Group, Fox Entertainment and Fox Television Stations.
