Nadia Afgan shared a social media post discussing her personal family life and the television drama Dar-e-Nijaat. The actress noted, "Story time: People like Abu Bakar and his mother do exist," regarding the characters in the show.
Afgan expressed her affection for her mother-in-law, stating, "I have come to love my mother-in-law like my own mother; she loves me so much." She further questioned her followers by asking, "Are you guys actually that nice? And you guys do not argue with each other? Are you aliens?"
The actress married Jawad Samar Khan, who is also known as Jodi Pai, in June 2008. Previous acting credits for Afgan include starring roles in the drama serials Pas E Dewaar and Hey Fam.
Dar-e-Nijaat features Sheheryar Munawar as Abu Bakar and Nameer Khan as Zamil. Durefishan Saleem portrays Zaryab, while Khushbakht serves as the mother of Abu Bakar in the production.
Afgan is expected to appear in a side role in the upcoming episodes of Dar-e-Nijaat.
