The Season 6 finale of Slow Horses, titled Judgement Day, is now available for streaming on Apple TV. Sid and River spend a single night fleeing from Russian sleeper agents during the final episodes.
Diana Taverner used the identity of Sid as a cover to carry out an off-the-books assassination on Russian soil. River assists Sid in her escape and nearly reunites with her at the house of her grandfather.
In the final moments of the season, River collapses in a kitchen due to an apparent poisoning. Olivia Cooke shared details about the production with Variety from the United Kingdom.
Cooke noted that River has kept her going, in a sense. Production for Season 1 began towards the end of 2020.
During that initial season, Cooke performed night shoots for a period of five weeks. The actress, who stands 5-foot-5 tall, pulled both of her quad muscles while running.
She spent two weeks hobbling around following that injury. Sid believes she is only alive because of Diana Taverner, who she thinks saved her by placing her in specialized rehab.
