Paris Saint-Germain secured a 3-1 victory over Strasbourg to move to the top of the French Ligue 1 table. Strasbourg took an early lead in the 17th minute when Giovanni Reyna scored from a pass by Gessime Yassine.

Ousmane Dembele missed a penalty in the 72nd minute before Illia Zabarnyi equalised for the visitors in the 78th minute. Dembele restored the lead with five minutes remaining, and Desire Doue added a third goal during stoppage time.

Video assistant referee confirmation showed a Doue shot struck the arm of Pape Demba Diop to award the final goal. The win represents the fourth straight Ligue 1 victory for Paris Saint-Germain, who now hold 14 points from seven matches.

The club's current form follows a 4-2 win against City in the Champions League, where Dembele has already netted three goals this season. Luis Enrique noted that Ousmane and the other players are not machines and they will not always be at their best. There are games over the course of a season where you are not at your best level because that is normal.

Elsewhere in the league, Lens defeated Troyes 3-1 away, while Lille played out a 1-1 draw against Brest.
