Sigma announced the Sigma FP2 camera, which will be available for purchase on 11 November 2026. The device features a 24.5-megapixel, partially stacked, back-side illuminated, full-frame CMOS sensor.

Shooting speeds reach up to 20fps, while the camera records video at 6K at 60fps. A cropped portion of the sensor allows for 4K video recording at 120fps.

Autofocus capabilities include recognition for birds, people, and animals. The body alone starts at $2,199, but a bundle including the EVF-21 viewfinder costs $2,749.

Customers can also purchase a bundle featuring an I-series 50mm F2 DG lens for $2,749. Users can interact with a 3.2-inch, 2.1-million dot LCD touchscreen.

Connectivity options include a full-size HDMI port and two USB-C ports, one of which is a 10Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 port. The camera comes with 70GB of internal storage.

Sigma stated the FP2 offers 30 percent longer battery life than the original fp. According to Sigma, the unit captures around 370 photos or about 130 minutes of video on a single battery.

Sigma described the camera as the "world’s smallest".
