Putin, Trump and Xi may hold trilateral summit in China next month
Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and Xi Jinping could convene for a three-way meeting in China next month. The Wall Street Journal reported that Putin proposed the gathering to deliberate on methods for ending the conflict in Ukraine.
Dmitry Peskov stated that while the possibility of a summit involving all three heads of state was raised, no specific proposals or agreements regarding the agenda were discussed. Peskov also confirmed that the United States is maintaining its mediation efforts to resolve the hostilities, which Russia appreciates.
The last peace talks mediated by the United States occurred in February. Russia's spokesperson noted that a final settlement is impossible without the participation of someone in Kyiv who is prepared to take responsibility.
The United States and Israel launched a war on Iran.
