TikTok is displaying a "no results found" page for searches involving specific peptides, including semaglutide, BPC-157, and retratutide. The social media platform has not deleted the actual videos featuring these substances from its site.

Users can still find short videos when searching for the general term "peptides." BPC-157 and TB-500 are currently unsearchable on the app.

Slight variations of the names for TB-500 and BPC-157 still manage to pull up published content. TikTok's search suggestions continue to offer functional variations of popular peptides.

Jeff Tang alerted the public to these platform changes in a tweet on 19 October. Tang also shared a video that directed blame toward Eli Lilly.

The US owner of TikTok did not provide an immediate response to a request for comment from The Verge. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has stated that peptides can assist with wound healing and weight loss.

These peptides include substances that are unapproved and unregulated.
