Inde Navarrette highlights Obsession's massive global box office success

Inde Navarrette appeared on The Kyle Buchanan Show to discuss the commercial performance of the film Obsession. The movie earned a global haul of $522 million after Focus Features released it.
Produced for less than $1 million, the production maintained box office earnings for four consecutive weekends. A Fandango study identified Generation Z as the most active demographic for moviegoing.
Data shows 87% of Generation Zers visited a cinema at least once during the year, averaging seven visits. Millennials also averaged seven annual visits, with 82% of the group seeing at least one film theatrically.
Generation X and baby boomers saw lower engagement, with 70% and 58% of those groups visiting a theatre at least once annually. Older generations averaged 6.1 visits for Generation X and 5.7 visits for baby boomers.
Generation Z spends more per visit on concessions and premium format screens like Imax.
