Faisalabad Development Authority laboratory conducts 400 construction material tests

The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) testing laboratory performed over 400 construction material tests during the current fiscal year. Approximately Rs.1 million in revenue was generated by the laboratory during this period.
Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry chaired a briefing session to evaluate the laboratory's performance. Italian-imported machinery has been used to modernise the facility, which now serves as a preferred site for analysis by Japanese and other foreign engineers working in Faisalabad.
Materials from private housing schemes are also being tested at the site. Chaudhry instructed officers to maintain technical accuracy, transparency, and the highest quality standards.
The Director General ordered the adoption of innovative measures to boost operational capacity. He further emphasised expanding services, improving performance, increasing revenue, and ensuring reports are delivered on time.
