NADRA clarifies rules for obtaining child B-Forms without mother's CNIC

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) clarified that parents can obtain a Child Registration Certificate, commonly known as a B-Form, without a mother's physical Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC). Syed Shabahat Ali stated that identity verification remains possible through a mother's CNIC number or biometric data if her card is issued but physically unavailable.
However, the process becomes more complicated if the mother has never been issued a CNIC. Applicants may request a replacement B-Form using the Pak ID mobile application.
Fees for these replacements cost Rs50 under the normal category or Rs500 for the executive category.
