Engineer Amir Muqam, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President, addressed a public gathering in Besham, Shangla, on 25 October. The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) organised the event as a "Day of Gratitude" to signal the conclusion of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) administration in the province.

Thousands of citizens and PML-N workers attended the rally, chanting slogans for Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, and PML-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Supporters also expressed their backing for the Pakistan Army and CDF/COAS Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

Muqam stated that the era of loot and corruption under the PTI has been eliminated from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He asserted that every penny stolen from the public exchequer would be accounted for.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President claimed the people rejected a chaotic group that used slogans of change to deceive the public. Muqam said that no one remains in the province to mention the name of the PTI.

He argued that the previous PTI government relied on fake social media narratives for popularity while failing to build credibility or present a concrete welfare agenda. Muqam further noted that the former chief minister failed to eradicate terrorism.

The speaker praised the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, saying it has made every Pakistani proud. "I have no words how to thank you. I am grateful to all of you for coming here on a large number on such short notice," Muqam said.

"We will continue to play our role at every forum for the welfare, prosperity and development of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa," Muqam added.
