Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has ruled out any organisational changes to its current structure until further notice. Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Chairman, stated that Senator Noor-ul-Haq Qadri will preside over party meetings and perform his duties in accordance with the constitution in the absence of the missing official.

Ali Asghar Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa General Secretary, will oversee all organisational matters during this period. General Salman Akram Raja, Secretary, alleged that “undemocratic decision-makers” were attempting to undermine internal consensus within the party.

The group had cut off contact with Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and his team in the final days of the protest, according to Raja. Ali Amin Gandapur said, “First, make it clear who these people are.”

Gandapur added, “This party belongs to Imran Khan. We do not need loyalty certificates from anyone, nor does anyone have the authority to pass judgements on our political loyalty or hand us certificates of treason.”
