Dropout will premiere its first new original scripted live-action series, titled MP3, on 4 November 2026. The comedy streaming service is returning to the live-action scripted format after a seven-year hiatus.
Zach Reino and Jess McKenna wrote the series and provided its musical compositions. Each song featured in MP3 will be released on music streaming platforms following the premiere of its respective episode.
The series consists of three episodes, with the season finale scheduled for 2 December 2026. Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly will appear together as their NCIS characters in a reunion episode of NCIS: Origins on 20 October 2026.
CBS will air the reunion at 10 p.m. ET. The Season 3 premiere of NCIS: Origins averaged 4.39 million viewers, representing a 20 percent increase over the previous year's premiere.
That premiere became the number one broadcast show in its time slot. Austin Stowell portrays a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs during the early 1990s in the series produced by CBS Studios.
Mark Harmon narrates NCIS: Origins, which features a cast including Kyle Schmid, Mariel Molino, Tyla Abercrumbie, Diany Rodriguez and Caleb Foote. David J. North, Mark Harmon, Sean Harmon, Michele Greco and Eric Christian Olsen serve as executive producers for the show.
