The documentary Father’s House examines the manipulation, abuse, and frequent violence occurring within Faderhuset, a radical Danish Christian sect. Faderhuset maintained status as an official religious congregation until 2013.

Trine Dyrholm portrays Ruth Evensen, who is now known as Ruth Kristiansen, while David Dencik appears as Jerry. Laura Kronborg Kjær plays Camilla, a woman who spent seven years inside Father’s House and subsequently established the NGO-InsideOut.

Pernille Rose Grønkjær and Malthe Koch produced the project for Danish Documentary for Nordic public broadcasters DR, NRK and SVT. The film is being marketed as either a two-part series or a 90-minute feature, with a Danish release via Camera Film scheduled for 19 November 2026.

The directing trio stated, "The dynamic between Camilla and the actors was electric, but the test also revealed something deeper: it became a profound way to expose how we manipulate reality when making films, whether fiction or documentary. By pulling back the curtain on our own process, the hybrid style allowed us to break free from a linear timeline and instead build the film around a purely emotional and psychological structure." Kim Christiansen, DR Sales Executive Producer, said, "We have been very excited about this project for some time. Once we saw the first cut, we were all blown away by how powerful and original the film is."
