George Maguire to portray Captain Jack Sparrow in London stage production

Secret Cinema and TodayTix are producing the show, which features live storytelling as its primary element. The production incorporates selected clips from the film “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” and lasts over two hours.
Audiences can roam the sets, meet characters, and take part in the story, which also includes a live band and stunts. Two-time Emmy winner Jason Sherwood serves as the production designer for the project.
Kait Kerrigan is the theatrical adaptor, while Alan Williams manages music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations. Stuart Burt is the casting director, and Susan Kulkarni is responsible for costume design.
Helen Keane of Campbell Young Associates designs wigs, hair, and makeup, while Alex Payne serves as the fight director. Maguire previously won an Olivier Award for his role as Dave Davies in the musical “Sunny Afternoon”.
His screen credits include “EastEnders,” “Prime Suspect,” and “Borgia”.
