NADRA warns overseas Pakistanis against sharing personal data with unauthorized agents

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has cautioned Pakistanis living abroad against providing personal information to unverified individuals. No agents, dealers, or consultants are authorised by the agency to submit online applications or process identity papers.
Individuals residing outside the country can access official services at Pakistani embassies or through designated NADRA Registration Centers. A directory of these official facilities is hosted on the authority's primary website.
The Pak ID mobile app allows overseas citizens to request their first National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP). Applicants must pay the required fee, complete biometric verification, and upload supporting documents along with family and personal details.
Users can monitor the progress of their submissions via the mobile application. If online verification fails, the agency might require an in-person visit or further documentation.
Official online services are provided only through the Pak ID app and websites ending in gov.pk.
