Ioannis Tsiokos uses AI to discover 3D monotile Chair44

AI discovered a 3D monotile named Chair44, according to reports. Ioannis Tsiokos employed AI to find the 3D monotile Chair44.
Tsiokos stated, "Astra found this, I didn't find the tile." Tsiokos also used AI to write the paper detailing this discovery.
He has published approximately 40 papers using this method. Chaim Goodman-Strauss described the paper as "basically a piece of slop."
Despite the criticism, Chaim Goodman-Strauss maintained that the result is valid. Felix Flicker published a paper demonstrating that Chair44 can be simplified while keeping its aperiodicity.
Craig Kaplan noted that the new paper shows deficiencies in readability and clarity.
