Over 340 Palestinian children killed in Gaza since ceasefire began

More than 340 Palestinian children have died in Gaza since a cessation of hostilities was announced over a year ago. Hundreds of other children have sustained wounds during the ongoing conflict.
UNICEF reports that nearly half of the children killed since the truce began died in areas near the Yellow Line. This boundary demarcates the military presence of Israel.
Continued military aggression by Israel has turned the ceasefire into a diplomatic facade. Repeated invocations of security concerns by Israel cannot justify the killing of children.
Israel must be compelled to stop unlawful attacks and allow the unrestricted delivery of essential humanitarian aid.
